Model 4870 (patent pending), is a new and innovative modification of our successful Model 3636. The top portion of the assembly is 26″ (66 cm) in diameter by 48 ” (122 cm) long. The attached bottom “waffle” is 45” (114 cm) wide by 51” (130 cm) long. The waffle in combination with the above unit extends 5′ (1.5 m) underwater to mitigate the wave energy below the surface.

The "Waffle"
Model 4870’s unique waffle is ballasted with small aggregate and water to allow dissipation of the underwater wave energy. Incorporated into the waffle design are 12 openings to allow for water circulation, thereby mitigating algae buildup, or other forms of sediments.
Solar Lighting
The unique design of the upper unit of the Model 4870 allows for a mounted light pedestal when required for visibility at night.
