Model 4870 is a new and innovative modification of our successful Model 3636. The top portion of the assembly is 26 inches in diameter by 48 inches long.
Wave Attenuation Model 4870
Algae Mitigation
Model 4870’s unique waffle is ballasted with small aggregate and water to allow for resistance yet has 12 square holes that allow water to flow through thereby mitigating algae blooms, and other forms of stagnation.
Illumination Compatibility
The Model 4870 allows for a light pedestal to be
attached directly to the attenuator.
Exclusive Waffle Design
Model 4870 has 6 molded baffles for surface wave dissipation. Extending below the
upper unit is a 43 inch by 45 inch wide molded “waffle” that reduces the underwater energy of the wave.
