Warranty

WaveEater, LLC warrants its WaveEater product against defect in manufacture of molded
materials for a period of Two (2) years from date of installation. This includes failure of any
WaveEater module due to molding failure.

Exclusions: WaveEater does not warrant against Acts of God including, but not limited to;
earthquakes, hurricanes, storm, wind and wave damage, lightning, and other occurrences
outside of our control, which would also include vandalism, contractor failure to follow
installation instructions, maintenance procedure failure, or product mishandling.

Hardware connections subject to warranty conditions as provided by manufacturers thereof.

WaveEater, LLC also states that under normal conditions, and with periodic maintenance, the
WaveEater attenuation system should provide a minimum of twenty years (20), of service.

WaveEater will withstand non-moving ice pressure. The units have a 1/8” wall thickness and since they are only filled two thirds with water there is room for expansion within the module. Like other floating structures they are susceptible to damage if they are exposed to ice flows. However, there are a number of installations in northern climates where the system has not been removed in the winter, and the units have suffered no damage.

The photos show an installation in Dillon Reservoir west of Denver. Elevation is 9,114 feet, (2778m). Ice thickness is variable, but the photo would indicate at least 12-24” (31-61cm).
