Many state parks and homeowners associations have found the 1224 system to be far superior to other forms of wave barrier. The size allows the units to be seen from much further away, and the option of submerging them partially to create some wave attenuation is a benefit to the area users. Due to our manufacturing process of molded polyethylene with UV inhibitors, these attenuators have a far longer life span than other products currently on the market. Since 1995 there have been wave barrier systems in place with no required replacement parts due to material degradation.

Swim area barriers
The Model 1224 is an excellent choice for demarcation in open water swim areas. Standard orange and white provide high visibility in providing swimmers increased safety from boat traffic and jet skis.
There is also a fill hole when partial submergence is desired for increased wave attenuation.
Small pond erosion control
The Model 1224 is an option for use in small ponds which experience shoreline erosion due to high winds. The molded polyethylene construction makes it impervious to most chemicals and effluents.
