The waffle.
Introduced in 2022, the 4870 is an evolution of the successful Model 3636. The top unit is 26 inches in diameter by 48 inches long. Connected to the underside is a 48 inch wide by 51 inch waffle, which reduces the wave energy below the surface while still allowing water to circulate, thereby reducing algae or sediment buildup.
There is a 2 inch fill hole if partial submergence is required. The attached waffle is 47 inches wide by 51 inches long.

WaveEater Model 4870
Model 4870 (patented) is a new and innovative modification of our successful Model 3636. The top portion of the assembly is 26 in (66 cm) in diameter by 48 in (122 cm) long. The attached bottom waffle is 45 in (114 cm) wide by 51 in (130 cm) long. The waffle in combination with the above unit extends 5 ft (1.5 m) underwater to mitigate the wave energy below the surface.
The waffle
The Model 4870 has a unique sub-wall that is ballasted with small aggregate and water to allow dissipation of the underwater wave energy. Incorporated into the waffle design are 12 openings to allow for water circulation, thereby mitigating algae buildup, or other forms of sediments.
Model 4870 has 6 molded baffles for surface wave dissipation.
Solar lighting
The unique design of the upper unit of the Model 4870 allows for a mounted light pedestal when required for visibility at night.
